Take your first leap with jump pads and higher platforms.

Level Overview

Difficulty: Easy

Stars: 2

Length: Long (approx. 1:25)

Music: Back on Track by DJVI

Back on Track is the second level of Geometry Dash. It introduces the yellow jump pads, which propel the player upward automatically upon contact. The level features more varied terrain than Stereo Madness but remains accessible for beginners.

Gameplay Mechanics

The core mechanic introduced here is the jump pad. These require no input from the player to activate, which can sometimes catch new players off guard if they try to jump manually on top of them.

Mastering Back on Track

  • Let the Pads Work: Don't tap when you hit a yellow pad; it handles the vertical movement for you.
  • Stability is Key: In the ship sections, focus on staying in the middle of the screen to avoid sudden obstacles.
  • Predict Jumps: The terrain starts to have more "steps" now. Look ahead to see where you need to land.
